Felt Scene is an embodied documentary exploring perception as a dynamic and unstable process. Through abstract visual language, extreme close-ups, and shifting focal perspectives, the film immerses audiences in the fluidity of seeing and knowing. Inspired by Annie Besant’s “Thought-Forms” and the concept of fuzzy logic, the work deliberately destabilizes conventional visual comprehension, compelling viewers to navigate uncertainty and experience seeing as an embodied, subjective act. Employing incomplete circular motifs as metaphors for fragmented understanding, the film highlights the evolving nature of perception, continuously reshaped by context and proximity. Integrated soundscapes and fragmented voices further deepen this sensory engagement, emphasizing subjectivity and encouraging audiences to question their assumptions about clarity, perspective, and agency. By prioritizing lived experience and ethical mindfulness, Felt Scene opens a contemplative space for viewers to reconsider how they see themselves and the world around them.
