It’s Enough (for a rooftop)

360 Video Exploration with All Bodies Dance Project

Rooftop improvisational scores have been All Bodies Dance Project (ABDP)’s response to safely moving together during a global pandemic. The Rooftop offers a safe and accessible space for increased physicality while opening up the compositional space. In inviting a 360 degree camera the dancers now consider performance elements for an integrated audience, whose attention must be pulled from any direction and whose gaze cannot be anticipate. This project offers the potential for distant, asynchronous movement collaboration and composition, specifically for those who are experiencing decreased access to gathering physically during this time.
